mount kelud, kediri, indonesia
Thursday, May 08th, 2008 | Author: remi

mas arey just came back from the exhausting 6 summits in a row in West Java, Indonesia.

not sure about the other 2 summits, but i heard that they have went to mount bromo, mount semeru, mount arjuno and mount weilerang.

and?mas arey suddenly suggested that we change the trip from kawah ijen to gunung kelud. but…from the pix found here

gunung kelut

but it seems that…it is not that kicking… what do you think .. ijen or kelud?

yeah rite, it was rainy…and one group was not even allowed to climb semeru. they say that there was a lot of thunders at the peak.

as usual, the climbers from malaysia are adventurers. They ignored the restraining order and climbed semeru.

Remi, must remember, 4 of 8 members for the August trip are not really mountaineers…so not sure which mount is better. We want good scenery for our picture.
